Explore Washington

A complete passion project.
I had gone to Washington a few times to visit my aunt and explore as much as I possible could, and was always shocked at just how much the vegetation changes on a hike up to the peak. I really wanted to bring that into a motion piece, and wanted to try out a new design style with it. This was also made more complicated because I wanted the character to be walking continuously through the scenes, like how you do in the actual forrest, so I had to create giant strips in illustrator (seriously, they were as wide as the entire space given) and then have them piece together.
